The 2009 Gartner BPMS Magic Quadrant report is out. Gartner changed the BPMS evaluation criteria this year to include the support of four use cases rather than simply product capability. Since the report looks only at those vendors with a significant market share, as Gartner points out there are products from smaller regional vendors and niche-players that have significant capability despite not being included in this report. The strengths and cautions for each product provide a much better high level view of whether a vendor should make it to your list for consideration.
